Description

For sorting gari into grades and removing impurities.

Operation

  1. Switch on the motor
  2. Listen to the noise level to make sure it is satisfactory
  3. Place a receptacle under the discharge chute
  4. Pour the dough into the hopper
  5. Using the feed regulator, allow it to flow into the rotor drum
  6. Switch off the motor when disintegration is completed'
  7. Clean the disintegrator


Note: When sieving bigger volumes of dough, it may be necessary to stop the sieving process from time to time and clean the sieving drum to avoid clogging of the sieving mesh.

Routine Maintenance

  1. Thoroughly clean the machine every day before and after use.
  2. Remove trapped fiber from the sieving drum and sieving mesh.
  3. Apply water under pressure preferably through a hose, for about two minutes as rotor rotates.
  4. Switch off the motor and wipe the machine dry. Ensure water does not get into the motor

Periodic Maintenance

  1. Check sieving mesh for damage and replace if necessary.
  2. Check and maintain belt tension. Replace belt, if worn out
  3. Tighten all loose bolts, nuts and screws
  4. Always clean and dry the disintegrator when not in use
  5. Paint any exposed metal surfaces
  6. Check for bearing failure and replace if necessary
  7. Replace bearings every 2 years. Check bearings for dryness and grease when necessary, greasing may be repeated after six months.
