Operation
- Start the heat source (LPG or Firewood)
- Pre heat the frying pan
- Load gari into the frying pan
- Start stirring the gari
- Pour the gari into a receptacle when done
- Kill the furnace by putting off the LPG or remove the firewood
Routine Maintenance
- Cleaning and maintenance should be done with the fire out
- Do not clean the furnace until it’s completely cooled
- Periodically clean out the floor of the furnace by sweeping out debris; usually after the days’ work (completely draw out firewood when done with the days’ work)
- When using LPG, check the tubing for leaks and punctures
- Wash frying pan after the days’ work
Periodical Maintenance
- Clean out chimney periodically
