Description

For making gari/frying gari

Operation

  1. Start the heat source (LPG or Firewood)
  2. Pre heat the frying pan
  3. Load gari into the frying pan
  4. Start stirring the gari
  5. Pour the gari into a receptacle when done
  6. Kill the furnace by putting off the LPG or remove the firewood

Routine Maintenance

  1. Cleaning and maintenance should be done with the fire out
  2. Do not clean the furnace until it’s completely cooled
  3. Periodically clean out the floor of the furnace by sweeping out debris; usually after the days’ work (completely draw out firewood when done with the days’ work)
  4. When using LPG, check the tubing for leaks and punctures
  5. Wash frying pan after the days’ work

Periodical Maintenance

  1. Clean out chimney periodically
