The Food Technology Research Division (FTRD) comprises of the following sections as Food Product Development Research Laboratory, Equipment Design and Research Laboratory, Food Product Sensory, Food Analytical Services, and Management Information Systems.
Food Microbiology and Mushroom Research Division
The Food Microbiology and Mushroom Research Division (FMMRD) comprises of the following sections as Food Microbiology Analytical Section, Food Microbiology Research, Food Microbiology Accreditation, and Mushroom Research.
Food Chemistry and Nutrition Research Division
Food Chemistry and Nutrition Research Division (FCNRD) is 1 of the 3 technical divisions at CSIR-FRI. The division continues to offer analytical services to clients who have brought their samples for analysis.
Support Divisions
Commercial Division
The Commercialization Division is responsible for commercializing technologies, services and products developed over the years in the Institute to benefit the individuals, SMEs, Companies and the industry as a whole. It actively collaborates with the Research Division to realize these goals.
Administration Division
The Administration provides administrative support for the Research and Technological programs of the Institute. It is also responsible for identifying professional and managerial training needs and opportunities for staff; assessing, maintaining, and improving all Institute's infrastructures; maintaining and repairing Institute's vehicles and monitoring their use.
Finance and Accounts Division
The Finance and Accounts division manages the institute's finances, including safeguarding assets, overseeing cash flow, managing procurement, and generating financial reports. The division has three sections: final accounts, treasury, and payroll.
